What You'll Do

• Evaluate medical problems of adult patients within a gastroenterology/internal medicine setting
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on patient care
• Prescribe medication and monitor treatment responses
• Request consultations with specialists when necessary
• Educate patients and families about preventive care and medical treatments
• Document clinical evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes accurately
• Facilitate high-quality, patient-centered clinical assessments and interventions

What You Need

Required:

• NY State Medical License
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience in gastroenterology or internal medicine
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Epic experience is highly valued
• Board certification in relevant field

About the Assignment This assignment is within a well-regarded healthcare facility dedicated to excellence in adult patient care. You will work in a fast-paced environment managing adults with a wide variety of medical conditions, ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions. The team consists of one provider, with outpatient acuity levels and patient ratios averaging 1:14-18.
