The Mission As a Solar Sales Rep, you'll turn customer interest into high-impact projects-delivering Solar Sales solutions that help clients see clear value and ROI. You'll own the sales cycle from first conversation to signed proposal, aligning scope, pricing, and timelines so customers can move forward with confidence. Key Responsibilities Include Plan and organize a daily schedule to service existing accounts, win new accounts, and secure orders Educate customers on financial and professional benefits of solutions Build lasting relationships with partners and end-users; generate referrals Attend pre-bid site visits; support preliminary designs and ROI estimates using company software Coordinate estimating (including Accubid), vendor quotes, spreadsheets, and final pricing Prepare, follow up on, and close proposals; attend turnover meetings prior to job start Hit agreed sales targets; attend sales/company meetings; cross-sell across divisions Required Qualifications 2+ years related field experience; HS diploma/equivalent Strong selling, negotiation, and computer skills (Word/Excel/Email) NABCEP PVTS preferred or willingness to obtain Your Daily Momentum Your morning kicks off by mapping your route and prioritizing opportunities-balancing warm follow-ups with fresh outreach in Solar Sales. You're in and out of conversations: a quick check-in with a strategic partner, a customer call to confirm next steps, then a site visit where you capture details that sharpen the customer's vision. Midday is all about pace and precision: you review numbers, polish proposal language, and line up internal touchpoints so pricing and timelines stay crisp. As the afternoon builds, you keep momentum with timely follow-ups, moving prospects from "interested" to "ready." You wrap up by updating your pipeline, teeing up tomorrow’s meetings, and keeping Solar Sales goals firmly within reach.
